First LO in a while!

Lately I've mostly been doing cards so I really enjoyed making a layout with a photo recently.

I'm in a one year long challenge that is called Scrapbook Queen 2008 hosted by Iben and Multiscrap in Denmark. This layout I made for our 8th challenge. The criterias were to use the colors green, turqouise and pink, to use lots of flowers and to repeat a technique. This was my LO for that challenge. The oh so cute pirate princess on the layout is my niece!

Other than this LO I've been making cards for my DT assignment at Cards in Focus. This week we wanted to inspire for three different challenges. Cardjacked, Theme: Butterflies and a sketch challenge. Here are my cards for the three challenges.

On to not so scrap related matters...
School is almost over and I'm thrilled about that! I just have an exam on tuesday and then I hope to be all done. Fingers crossed that I wont have to retake the exam I had last week. Now it's on to job hunting! Hopefully I'll have that sorted out shortly so I'll start making some money soon! That would be nice! :) But until I do find a job I'll enjoy the time I have off. I think a lot of time will be spent out on our lovely balcony!

Thanks for stopping by! :)

Worlds worst blogger? :)

Could I be awarded with that title? It is wierd cause when I decided to start blogging I was quite excited about it but somehow I lost that excitment...after my first post! :)

Ok, so I'm gonna give the blogging thing a second chance. As I have already stated this blog will mostly contain my scrapbooking stuff so I thought I'd post a few LO's, cards and other projects I have made since my last post.

This is a necklace I made for the Scrap Event of Scandinavia. I had so much fun making this, playing around with shrink plastic:

Here are two bookmarks that I've made. Also lot of fun playing around with a new technique. Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist and Glimmer Screens:

I love candles and I wanted to scrap this cool picture that I had. Made it for a "use what I send you swap" in a support group I'm in at http://www.scrapbook.com/

One of my easter cards that I made this year. Love the little bunny brads and looooove stickles!!

This is a recipe card I've made for a swap I'm in.

Until next time, thanks for stopping by! :)

My first blog post! :)

I thought I would give this blogging thing a try! I love reading friends blogs but at the same time I find it hard to think that someone would be interested about reading mine! :)

Just as the description of this blog says, it will be mostly about scrapbooking and me posting pictures of my projects. I have joined a challenge this year. It's Iben at multiscrap.blogspot.com that is hosting it. There are 96 people competing to become "Scrapbook Queen 2008". For me being a new scrapper it's not a matter of winning the title but more of a way to challenge myself to try different things when it comes to scrapping.

The first challenge had the following criterias:
1) Make a layout with a picture/pictures of someone that you admire.
2) Bling it! :)
3) Scraplift someone elses LO.

I thought about it for a while and decided to make a layout with Celine Dion on it. She's got an amazing voice and I think she's very down to earth. Here's my Celine layout. I had so much fun doing it.

I'm gonna start my LO for the second challenge today if I can work up the energy for it. I've got a bad cold so I've been spending most of the day in bed watching Super G, Slalom, Snowboard and Biathlon competitions on TV. That's what I call a nice relaxing day. Just wish I didn't have to deal with the sore throat.

Thanks for checking out my blog! Feel free to leave comments so I'll know if anyone even reads this! :)
