Just as the description of this blog says, it will be mostly about scrapbooking and me posting pictures of my projects. I have joined a challenge this year. It's Iben at multiscrap.blogspot.com that is hosting it. There are 96 people competing to become "Scrapbook Queen 2008". For me being a new scrapper it's not a matter of winning the title but more of a way to challenge myself to try different things when it comes to scrapping.
The first challenge had the following criterias:1) Make a layout with a picture/pictures of someone that you admire.
2) Bling it! :)
3) Scraplift someone elses LO.
I thought about it for a while and decided to make a layout with Celine Dion on it. She's got an amazing voice and I think she's very down to earth. Here's my Celine layout. I had so much fun doing it.
I'm gonna start my LO for the second challenge today if I can work up the energy for it. I've got a bad cold so I've been spending most of the day in bed watching Super G, Slalom, Snowboard and Biathlon competitions on TV. That's what I call a nice relaxing day. Just wish I didn't have to deal with the sore throat.
